The standard Scrolled Turk is my preferred spindle for spinning singles. While I may be biased, I genuinely love these spindles, especially this size. It's not overly light or heavy, with most standards falling within what I consider the ideal spinning weight range of 0.75 to 1.0 oz (some wood and pattern combinations may vary).
