A beautiful antique Royal Devon water jug, made by S. Fielding & Co. of Stoke-on-Trent, England, dating to the late Victorian / early Edwardian period (circa 1890–1910). This elegant jug features classic Royal Devon floral decoration, with soft pastel blooms, ornate gilded scrollwork, and a gently scalloped rim and base.  It is fitted with its original hinged metal pouring lid, hinged centrally, designed to keep contents covered while allowing controlled pouring — a desirable and increasingly hard-to-find original feature. The underside bears the S.F. & Co. England – Royal Devon crown mark, confirming authenticity and period.
