This is a Nikon D5200 body modified for infrared (IR) photography. It has many uses, such as astrophotography and ancient document analysis.

★ The infrared cut filter has been removed. Because the filter has not been replaced, this camera offers the best infrared transmission rate among the various types of infrared modifications. The sensor position has been adjusted, so there is no impact on focus.
★ By adjusting the white balance in the camera, you can take pictures with a natural color tone to some extent, even when shooting subjects other than celestial objects.
★ The exterior has scratches and scuffs commensurate with a used item.
★ The body's functions, including AF, power, and shutter operation, have been confirmed to be working well.
★ The last image is of the infrared emitting part of a TV remote control, taken with this camera and the included SD card. The light, which is barely visible to the naked eye, is clearly captured. At the same time, the background is naturally photographed due to the white balance function.
★ The accessories included are everything shown in the photos (strap, battery, and 2GB SD card used for the shooting test).
★ As stated above, the condition is good, but please consider this item as being outside of the manufacturer's warranty, as it is an infrared-modified unit that has been disassembled.
