Al Rio was a Brazilian comic book artist renowned for his dynamic, highly detailed illustrations, particularly of female characters. Rising to prominence in the 1990s, he worked on Gen¹³, DV8, and Grimm Fairy Tales, among others. His style blended realism with exaggerated comic aesthetics. Rios talent extended across superhero, fantasy, and pin-up art, making him a fan favorite.
Tragically, he passed away in 2012, leaving behind a legacy of stunning comic artistry.
